*Hydrangeas are deciduous.

If buying hydrangea in Winter, they will have no leaves and will often have been cut back to around 5cm to get ready for their Spring growth rush.* During the growing season we sometimes have to cut them back to around 10cm as they grow so fast.

The acidic levels in the soil will not affect the flower color of this hydrangea variety

Will grow approximately 1.5 to 1.8 metres tall and wide.
Can be cut back hard and they will reshoot.

We usually have 5 to 10 types of hydrangea in stock. Both lacecap and mophead varieties.

These are a beautiful addition to a plant collection

Also adding great color to the cottage garden

Strong and vigorous, this variety when it flowers have blossom clusters that can be up to 25cm across.

Also make great dried flowers or potted plants in large pots for Balcony, patio, courtyard etc.

Although quite hardy, for best growth, hydrageas prefer a moist position in either full sun to semi shade.

They do not like the hot afternoon sun in summer.

Beautiful leaves that are lime green when young and then maturing to deep green.

You will often see them grown for their foliage structures as well.

They will form a good shape by themselves although you can trim and train them to your desired growth requirements.

Most hyrangea are deciduous which means that in the cooler parts of Australia they will lose some or all of their leaves in winter and will reshoot in spring.

When cut back hard in late Autumn and winter, they will reshoot in spring.
They can be cut back hard to around 5  to 15cm tall and they will resprout.
